About
Like running, design requires pacing—knowing when to push, hold back, seek help, or let free.
When I’m not designing, I’m an ultrarunner, tackling far and high distances.
I started running on an impulse. My father and I signed up for a marathon and trained together while I was in college. Running sparked the same curiosity and exploration that I embraced as an artist. As I began to understand my perspective, running became the most influential piece of my creative process.
Now, I have the impulse to run in-order-to strategize and work through design concepts. Challenging my body’s physical limits reminds me to venture beyond what graphic design traditionally is. I perceive my career as an ultramarathon, with the right strategy, you can always go farther, climb higher, and run
more efficiently.
I am an artist who goes the distance.
